━ CUSTOM SCREEN PRINTING
Custom screen printing is a practical way to turn everyday apparel into something that represents a business, brand, team, event, organization, or idea. From simple one-color logos to detailed multi-color designs, each order is printed with careful attention to quality, placement, and consistency so the finished apparel looks professional and holds up to regular wear.
For businesses, branded workwear does more than identify employees. A crew wearing quality, consistent apparel presents a more established and professional image, shows pride in the company they represent, and can help build familiarity and trust with customers. At the same time, every job site, delivery, store visit, or stop around town becomes another opportunity for people to see the business.
The same value carries over to brands, events, teams, organizations, and causes. Apparel travels with the person wearing it, putting a name, design, or message in front of new people over and over again. Apparel that is worn regularly can create thousands of impressions over its lifetime, long after the original order, event, or promotion is over.
Whether the goal is to outfit a crew, promote a business, build a brand, or get a message noticed, custom printed apparel is most effective when it’s something people actually enjoy wearing. Quality garments and a great-looking print give people a reason to keep reaching for it, which keeps your name, design, or message visible wherever they go.
━ A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
SCREEN PRINTING VS. TRANSFERS
Screen printing is generally the preferred option for its durability, feel, and professional finish. Transfers are also available and can be a good alternative when screen printing isn't practical, such as for very small orders or highly detailed, full-color designs. The best method will depend on the project.
QUANTITY AFFECTS PRICE
The more shirts you order, the lower the price per shirt generally becomes. Screen printing requires much of the same setup whether you're printing 10 shirts or 100, so larger orders spread those setup costs across more shirts. 3RD EYE GRAPHIX has a 10-shirt minimum for standard pricing. Smaller orders may be available on a case-by-case basis, with an additional charge to offset setup costs.
COLORS & PRINT LOCATIONS
The number of colors in your design and the number of locations being printed both affect the price. Each color generally requires its own screen and setup, and each additional print location requires additional setup and printing. A one-color front print, for example, will cost less than a multi-color design printed on both the front and back.
GARMENT CHOICE MATTERS
The brand, style, fabric, and color of the garment can all affect the final price. Some designs printed on dark garments may also require additional ink layers or printing steps to produce bright, accurate colors. Garment recommendations can be made based on the look, fit, feel, and budget you're after.
ARTWORK & FINAL PRICING
Some artwork is ready to print as-is, while other artwork may need adjustments or preparation to reproduce properly with screen printing. Final pricing is based on the entire project, including quantity, garment choice, colors, print locations, artwork, and any special requirements. Everything will be reviewed before production so you'll know exactly what you're getting and what it will cost before anything is printed.
ABOUT 3RD EYE GRAPHIX:
Most large online print companies are designed to process orders as quickly as possible with as little interaction as possible. Sometimes that approach works well. But if you’d like thoughtful recommendations or minor improvements before production, that option is always available.
Small adjustments to a design or its layout can make a noticeable difference in the final product and help ensure it’s as effective as possible and accomplishes its purpose.
Every project is handled on a case-by-case basis, with communication first and production second. Taking the time to discuss the details beforehand, when needed, helps get the project done right the first time and greatly reduces the chances of misprints or other disappointments with the finished product.
Because great custom apparel isn’t just about printing an uploaded design — it’s about creating a finished product you’ll be proud to put your name on.
